Adding more excitement to the anticipation of her upcoming dance track ?E.T.? ? Katy Perry has released a photo of herself in the costume she dons in the video.
Revealing the picture via Facebook, the ?Firework? gal is posing with blunt bangs, a heavy cat eye and a pleather and fish-scale sequined top.
She wrote, "Here's a sneak peek of the artwork for 'E.T.,' the next single off 'Teenage Dream'! Stay tuned for a new music video and remixes coming soon."
Of the actual song, Perry explained, "This next song is about falling in love with a foreigner, like far away ... not even in England."

Donald Sutherland Gets a Star Next to Kiefer?s
Bestowed his very own sense of Hollywood immortality, Donald Sutherland received the 2430th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Wednesday (January 26).
The 75-year-old actor was presented the honor by "Horrible Bosses" co-star Colin Farrell during a laid-back ceremony taking place next to Donald's son Kiefer's Walk of Fame star.
With Universal Studios President and COO Ron Meyer also partaking, the group gathered together for pictures after Farell joked around and told everyone how Donald saved him - as he could never smoke next to him.
Prior to the ceremony, Sutherland said of the honor, "It's lovely. You're 75 years old. It's different from what it is if you're a young person in the full flush of your career when your future's ahead of you. My future is behind me so when you're my age and you go for a drive, you pass the cemetery, you turn and look. You're window shopping! I was thinking about this thing (Walk of Fame honor) on Hollywood Boulevard and I realized I was going to have my stone and the great thing about this one is I will be able to visit it. The other one (grave headstone) I won't, I'll be under it."
Meanwhile, fans can catch Donald in his new movie "The Mechanic" opening in theaters this Friday, January 28th.
Co-starring Jason Statham, the action flick "follows an elite hit man as he teaches his trade to an apprentice who has a connection to one of his previous victims."

According to music producer Danja, Britney Spears is still hard at work on her March album release. The producer, who has worked with Spears on songs like "Gimme More," "Break the Ice" and "Kill the Lights" in the past, reveals that he and the pop superstar are still working on tracks together.
"Britney, I don't have too much news, but I'm always creating something," he told MTV News on Thursday, just as Spears' first single, "Hold It Against Me," reached the top of iTunes charts worldwide. "Still recording. She still has songs to cut, but we'll see what happens."
When asked what kinds of songs he's throwing together for Britney, his comments echoed those he made last June. "I just took my track level up. I just wanted to make sure it's still hard-hitting and still that same energy that people heard, but very today's time," he said. "So we'll see. I don't know what the project will end up being, but we'll see. We did have a meeting like a year ago, and they wanted it to sound urban, hard-hitting, not so much dance, but just that similar sound."
Danja says that he has yet to actually get in the studio with the star, but he has been in conversation with her about any potential songs that might be included on her still untitled album. "Well, for me, this time around I haven't been in with her yet," he revealed. "It's just been us writing and creating and really nailing a sound or a song more than anything."
In addition to working on tracks for the album, Spears is also hard at work on the video for her first single. Her choreographer Brian Friedman spoke to MTV's "The Seven" this week, describing what fans will see when the video drops.
"I think you can expect the unexpected from Britney," he said. "She is taking risks when it comes to fashion, when it comes to choreography, when it comes to this music — she's grown up so much, and she's pushing 30 years old soon, so she's a strong, independent woman and I think she wants to show that."

It?s no secret that he?s a fan of excessive partying and Charlie Sheen reportedly dropped $26,000 on hookers during his recent trip to Las Vegas.
According to Radar, the ?Two-and-a-Half Men? star paid one escort named Ginger $10 grand for four hours of crazy sex.
When she got to the $40,000-a-night Sky Villa at the Palms Casino Resort, Ginger noticed that Sheen was enjoying some nose candy.
A source explained, ?Ginger said Charlie was high on cocaine when she got to the room and continued to do drugs in front of her. He was totally out of it and clearly had been partying all night long."
And apparently Charlie developed a little crush on Ginger. ?Charlie told Ginger this wasn?t just a one night stand and that he plans to reconnect with her during the next time he is in Las Vegas. From whta she has said, she had a very good time with him and she is just his type.?
Besides Ginger, Sheen also plunked down $8,000 each for two other hookers during his stay in Sin City.

?Modern Family? Caught In the Act Sneak Peek
Giving a glimpse of what's sure to be another laugh-inciting installment, ABC has released a sneak peek of Wednesday night's (January 19) episode of "Modern Family".
Titled "Caught In the Act," the latest offering from the hit show finds Claire (Julie Bowen) and Phil (Ty Burrell) caught in a compromising position when the kids try to surprise them with breakfast in bed.
During the clip, the couple's daughters get a bit more than they bargained for as Alex (Ariel Winter) says, "I can still see it."
Sister Haley (Sarah Hyland) adds, "I can't believe that just happened" as their younger brother Luke (Nolan Gould) innocently chimes in to say "looked like dad was winning."
Other storylines find Gloria (Sofia Vergara) dealing with a major e-mail glitch while Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cam (Eric Stonestreet) are diligently trying to hobnob their way into an exclusive restaurant.

Britney Spears' 'Hold It Against Me' Likely Safe From Copyright Case
Country music duo the Bellamy Brothers are upset over Britney song title's resemblance to their 1979 hit.

Chances are, nobody out there is going to confuse the Bellamy Brothers' slow-rolling, 1979 Tex-Mex country hit "If I Said You Have a Beautiful Body Would You Hold It Against Me" with Britney Spears' new club grinder "Hold It Against Me."
Yeah, the titles are somewhat similar, but even with the noise the "Let Your Love Flow" sibling act is making over a possible legal challenge to Brit, the chances of winning a case over the borrowing of a song title is pretty slim, according to a noted copyright attorney who spoke to MTV News.
"A title is not copyrightable," said lawyer Brian Caplan, who has more than 20 years of experience in intellectual property and entertainment law. (Caplan does not represent the Bellamy Brothers.) "The expression, either in lyrics or music in a composition is copyrightable, however if something has been used previously by multiple sources, one can argue that it is trite or commonplace and the latter user has no right to it."
David Bellamy conceded to Entertainment Weekly that he first heard the title phrase — a favorite cheesy pick-up line for bar-trollers across the globe — while watching reruns of the classic Groucho Marx show "You Bet Your Life." The mustachioed comedian used the line on the show one night in an attempt to sidle up to a buxom blonde, Bellamy recalled.
"It was just really funny, and I thought, 'Well, that'd make a really good song title," Bellamy said, acknowledging that many songs have the same, or similar, titles these days. "But this particular title is kinda hard to disguise, because the title is the song. It's not like saying, 'I love you, baby.' I think songwriters have become watered-down. This makes me sound like an old man again, but I find that songwriters now are not as strong as they used to be in the '60s or '70s."
Lawyer Caplan, who had not heard either song when MTV News contacted him to comment, said that just because a title is not copyrightable does not mean a potential case would automatically go away. "It means that there would be a strong argument as it moves forward to have it dismissed, though," he said. "If you can show through a survey of prior art that that phrase has been used previously by others prior to the plaintiff's use, then it significantly undermines [the case] and if it's only used in the title it's a slam dunk."
As an example, he said if someone wrote a song called "Jersey Girl" or "My Jersey Girl," despite the fact that Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Tom Waits wrote his "Jersey Girl" in 1980 — and Jersey boy Bruce Springsteen helped popularize it a year later — as long as the rest of the song is different musically, lyrically and melodically, there would be no case there, either.
In the meantime, Spears is burning up the charts with her tune and breaking some records along the way. "Hold It Against Me" immediately shot to #1 on iTunes upon release this week and broke all previous records for most spins upon its release on Monday.

Will Britney Spears' 'Hold It Against Me' Match Past Success?
We take a look at the pop star's previous singles, by the numbers.

Forget about the trash-talking battle between Britney Spears supporters and Lady Gaga's Little Monsters about which diva will rule 2011. And, for the moment, disregard the fact that when Britney drops her latest single, "Hold It Against Me," on Tuesday, she'll have some stiff chart competition in the form of another new single from a pair of major dudes, Kanye West and Jay-Z's cryptically named "H.A.M.," the first single from their upcoming joint album, Watch the Throne.
The real question is: Will Britney be able to live up to her past glory? The club-thumping "Against Me" comes out after the former teen pop star cemented a career comeback in 2008 with her Circus album and its ensuing smash world tour. But a look at Brit's success on the singles chart with the first single from her album is a lesson in the ups and downs of a pop star's career arc.
While some songs were unexpected smashes out of the box (think "3" and "Womanizer"), others either failed to chart ("My Prerogative") or didn't do as well as you might have expected ("I'm a Slave 4 U").
Billboard ran down the chart debuts of the first singles from each of Spears' albums, and they tell an interesting tale that could bode well for her latest chart attack.
5: Number of first singles from Spears' eight albums (which includes two best-ofs) that have hit the top 10.
3: Number of Hot 100 #1 songs that have been the lead singles from that project.
2: Brit's last two singles ("3" and "Womanizer") have hit #1 on the Hot 100.
5.1 million: Combined digital sales for those tracks.
43: Combined weeks on the charts for those singles.
32: Highest number of weeks on the chart for a lead single (" ... Baby One More Time").
85: Lowest chart debut for a lead single ("Gimme More").
95: Number of spots "Womanizer" jumped in week two on the singles chart after debuting at #96.
16: "3" became only the 16th song in Hot 100 history to debut at #1 in October 2009.

We can be in direct contact with the world and people can at least choose between second-hand and the direct information.?

While a more complete demo told only part of the story Monday, legions of Britney Spears fans have no doubt spent the better part of Tuesday morning (January 1) reveling in Brit Brit's return with her new single, "Hold It Against Me," which was made available for download at midnight.
In many ways, Ms. Spears has served up a jam in line with popular music's current craze, EDM (electronic dance music), but make no mistake, "Against Me" is a hard-hitting thumper of a pop electro-house tune. What's especially unique about the Dr. Luke- and Max Martin-produced single is that, in typical trailblazing fashion, Spears has saluted the dance music world by including a section of dubstep in the surefire radio hit.
About 2:20 into the song, the track slips into a simple dubstep break with Spears calling out, "Gimme something good/ Don't want to wait, I want it now/ Drop it like a hood, and show me how you work it out."
Already, less than 24 hours after the song's official release, some are questioning whether Spears has hammered a nail into dubstep's coffin. Some of underground EDM's purist fans are worried that Spears has watered down their guarded and beloved art form.
But the current prince of dubstep told MTV News he thinks Spears is doing a great thing for the genre, even though he isn't in love with the section used in "Against Me."
"The more the stuff that is underground becomes mainstream, the more the underground is gonna change," Skrillex explained Monday. "I think it's gonna inspire people to obviously do something different."
Los Angeles-based Skrillex, born Sonny Moore, has a background in the post-hardcore metal scene, but in the past two years, has achieved popular success in the EDM world. He signed with deadmau5's mau5trap records and, toward the end of 2010, released a slew of dubstep singles that topped beatport.com's chart, even holding eight positions on the dance-music site's top 10 at one point.
"I thought the track ["Against Me"] was great overall," the face of popular new dubstep said. "I'll be honest, man: I love Max Martin. I think he's an absolute genius. And Dr. Luke did it, right? I think they are a f---ing dream team. I love the track!
"I thought the dubstep part was unnecessary," he continued. "Not to say it was done wrong. I feel like it was very self-aware and consciously put in there to be 'the dubstep part.' I can see a lot of people getting pissed about it — the purist dubstep and drum and bass fans — but at the end of the day, it's cool that people are trying new things. Sooner or later, anything that happens in the underground — be it watered down or not — it always makes itself into the mainstream. It's cool to hear."
To Spears' credit, Skrillex, who it would seem couldn't come from a more opposite musical background than Spears, spoke of her legacy.
"I really respect her," he admitted. "From being a Mouseketeer to all the controversial stuff and to all the stuff she has been through. She does have an incredible legacy and an incredible story. The fact that she is still making records just says a lot."

Britney Spears' 'Hold It Against Me' Drops On Tuesday
Pop superstar has been rehearsing choreography for a month for the clip, which will be shot in two weeks.

After days of speculation and a churning rumor mill, Britney Spears has come forth to set the record straight about her upcoming single, "Hold It Against Me." Produced by Dr. Luke and Max Martin, the high-energy tune, a demo of which surfaced on the Internet on Thursday, is set to hit airwaves on Tuesday, she tweeted.
"Heard an early demo of my new single leaked. If u think that's good, wait til you hear the real one Tuesday," Spears wrote on Twitter Thursday night. She also posted the track's artwork, a close-up of the pop princess' face partially covered by her blond locks.
"Hold It Against Me" is the lead single from Britney's currently untitled new album, dropping in March.
In the leaked demo of the scorching club track, singer/songwriter Bonnie McKee sings Spears' part. She proclaims her lust for a person while surrounded by a crowd of people. "If I feel my heart was beating loud/ If we could escape the crowd somehow/ If I said I want your body now/ Would you hold it against me?/ 'Cause you feel like paradise/ And I need a vacation tonight/ If I said I want your body now/ Would you hold it against me?" she sings over a pulsating bass.
The track's producer cautioned that the demo is a very early version of the song. "That version of hold it against me is really really old... it don't sound like that anymore... it's WAY better :-p," Dr. Luke tweeted.
